FONTODI - Chianti Classico, 2020
The Manetti family's generations-long tradition of pottery making in Tuscany led them to create Fontodi, a renowned winemaking venture. Managed by Marco and Giovanni Manetti, this certified organic estate spans 170 hectares, over 80 of which are vineyards. Their flagship wine, Fontodi Chianti Classico, crafted from selected Sangiovese grapes, follows natural and sustainable practices, undergoing spontaneous fermentation and maceration before an 18-month oak barrel aging. This prestigious Tuscan winery's authentic approach results in an elegant yet traditional red wine, reflecting the essence of Chianti Classico.
